Terresa directed me to the site and I wanted to let you know it's very touching and informative. I'm a smoker and seeing those statistics about mortality and the very small percentage of survival has sparked me to re-asses my habit. I wish you the best of luck with your organization, and I'm sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss. I am currently waiting to see a cancer specialist to see if the lung nodule that was found accidently on a CT scan is malignant. I am 51 years old, a nurse, and have a husband and two sons, along with extended family. I am going to have all tests, biopsies, etc., done to confirm a diagnosis. I am praying that the nodules aren't malignant, and if they are, I am praying for all of the help that I can get. Thank you for offering this website. It is a source of information for all that need it, and also a great tribute to Marcia from the people that loved her. God Bless all of you. Carol

What a beautiful site and what a wonderful tribute. Marcia was a co-worker and friend of mine. I use to walk with her at lunch almost everyday. She was so into staying healthy and fit and was an such inspiration. She was my motivation on many days. I think of her often and miss her company.

I also worked with Marcia for many years. This website is incredible and is a beautiful tribute to my wonderful friend Marcia and a great help to inform everyone about the dangers of lung cancer. I loved Marcia and found her always to be a person who loved life. She was very involved in keeping herself physically fit and we were all shocked when she was diagnosed and deeply saddened by her death. The walk sounds great I hope I can be there. My prayers and regards to her terrific family - I know she is missed terribly. Martha

It brings tears to my eyes when I remember Marcia. I miss her greatly. Our daily conversations, her humor, her joy of life. This is a wonderful memorial to her and how she lived her life. I look forward to participating in this very special event. I too have lost loved ones to Cancer and know that it is only through dedicated efforts such as these that one day a cure will be found.

I also worked with Marcia. She was an inspiration to me in many ways. I admired the way she took such good care of herself, walking and eating properly. I mostly admired her for the relationships she had with her husband as well as her daughters. They were a close family and I know that she is missed terribly. We still think of Marcia often.

Marcia and I spent some wonderful times together in classes at Fisher Jr. College, working at Wang Laboratories, downhill skiing at Mt. Wachusett, birthday celebrations at Bertucci and many long walks at Salisbury Beach. I greatly admired her love for her family. Marcia was a very special friend who was loved by many, many people. I think of her often and miss her deeply. Your website is an outstanding tribute to my dear friend, Marcia. I hope I can join you on Sept. 21st.
